L’entreprise nous a contactés pour mener une transformation complète de 250 m² de bureaux situés au cœur du quartier du Panier à Marseille. Ces locaux professionnels étaient devenus de moins en moins fonctionnels au fil des années et de l’évolution de l’entreprise. L’objectif était de créer un environnement de travail plus lumineux, mieux structuré et particulièrement agréable au quotidien.
Les objectifs du projet
La réflexion architecturale s’est articulée autour de deux enjeux principaux :
- Améliorer la diffusion de la lumière naturelle ;
- Clarifier l’organisation des espaces afin de créer des pièces bien définies, favorisant à la fois la concentration et la fluidité des circulations. Le projet introduit ainsi une nouvelle distribution qui structure les différents espaces de travail tout en conservant une lecture simple et cohérente du lieu.
Un espace convivialité
Une attention particulière a été portée à la création d’une cafétéria, pensée comme un véritable lieu de convivialité. Conçue pour être à la fois fonctionnelle et esthétique, la cafétéria propose un moment de respiration dans la journée de travail et participe à la qualité globale des bureaux.
Une écriture brute et minimaliste
Le projet développe une écriture architecturale volontairement brute et minimaliste. La structure existante a été révélée en mettant en valeur le béton d’origine, élément central de l’identité du lieu.
Cette matérialité est complétée par une palette de matériaux simples et durables, notamment le béton ciré, le bois et l’inox. L’association de ces matières crée un équilibre entre chaleur et sobriété, tout en renforçant le caractère contemporain des espaces.
Ce projet d’architecture tertiaire à Marseille a permis de répondre pleinement aux attentes du client, en conciliant qualité architecturale, maîtrise budgétaire et respect du planning.
The company commissioned us to carry out a complete transformation of 250 sqm of office space located in the heart of the Panier district in Marseille. These professional premises had become increasingly less functional over the years and with the company’s evolution. The objective was to create a brighter, better-structured, and more pleasant working environment on a daily basis.
Project objectives
The architectural approach was structured around two main challenges:
- Improving the diffusion of natural light;
- Clarifying the spatial organization to create well-defined areas that promote both concentration and smooth circulation. The project introduces a new layout that structures the different workspaces while maintaining a clear and coherent reading of the space.
A convivial space
Special attention was given to the creation of a cafeteria, designed as a true social hub. Both functional and aesthetic, it offers a moment of relaxation during the workday and contributes to the overall quality of the offices.
A raw and minimalist approach
The project embraces a deliberately raw and minimalist architectural language. The existing structure was revealed by highlighting the original concrete, a key element of the site’s identity.
This materiality is complemented by a palette of simple and durable materials, including polished concrete, wood, and stainless steel. The combination of these materials creates a balance between warmth and restraint, while reinforcing the contemporary character of the spaces.
